I like craft things, biking, having fun, and scrapbooking.
Favorite Bible verse and why?:
Isaiah 40:31 this verse is my favorite verse and song. I love the promise of God-He says if we just wait upon Him we shall run and not be weary, walk and not faint... teach me Lord to wait. This is the verse that pops into my mind whenever I am in need.
What do you like about Thursday nights?:
Thursday nights are a fun and exciting time to hang out with the kids, as we dig into what God wants us to learn from each other and His word.
When did you become a Christian?:
I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved and baptized in middle school at a youth rally. I have known God my whole life but I fully connected and followed with the understanding of who God is when I was in middle school. I think this is why middle school kids are so dear to me.
When did you become a youth group leader?:
I became a leader two years ago and have loved it ever since!
What is something you wish you knew when you were in middle school?:
I wish I would have listened to those around me and heard the warnings of the things I shouldn't have done. I would have less scars in my heart now.
