Baptism
If your child is interested in being baptized and you would like more information please contact our Director of Children's Ministry, Velma Foreman at the church office (924-5002, ext. 249).
Infant/Child Dedication
While a dedication ceremony does not pass on salvation to a child, it is a way for parents to publicly thank God for the blessing of their child and to promise to God they will raise their child to know, honor, respect, and obey God and to love and serve Jesus Christ. The parent's goal in raising their child in this way is that their child will choose salvation for him or herself when he or she is mature enough to do so, and it is Discovery's promise to support parents as they do this. Our next infant and child dedication will be Sunday, March 21, during all four services. If you would like to have your child dedicated, please contact Velma (924-5002).
Children's Basketball
The Children's Basketball League is for both boys and girls in third, fourth, and fifth grade.
